Xavier's Cottage

Location was strategic, just a few minutes walk to the town area with eateries, supermarkets and other amenities. The old English cottage atmospheres were well preserved. The room was spacious with windows, and blinds for natural lighting. The furniture were adequate, and very practical settings of space. Mostly, importantly the bed was comfortable, shower’s pressure was good with hot water, and there was a heater in the bedroom too. Loved the place so much, and highly recommend to those that budget it within its range. Jevanta, the staff very helpful, and friendly as well.

Property has a cozy little house kinda feeling which is close to the city centre. Property also provided a room heater and it really helped us to surpass the chilly vibes of hill station. Property is conciois about environment and provided water in glass bottles and all the toiletries in glass reusable bottle. Wish all the properties in srilanka come up with sustainable ways like this.

Jeewantha who welcomed us on our arrival was extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with with electricity but Jeewantha organised another property managed by Jetwing for us to stay with minimal inconvenience in moving places. Had a very enjoyable time at both properties.

We booked The Cottage but we got transferred to the St. Andrews instead because it’s their bigger hotel and in due to lack of tourism they prefer to move everyone to the St. Andrew’s. Couldn’t be happier to be honest, lovely hotel and amazing staff.

This was a very convenient place as this was in the town itself. Staff member Kapila was really helpful.
